Master Keys In Excelling As An Effective Teacher - Dr. Mike Murdock

Mentorship Creates Success Without The Waiting Time.
Teaching is imparting knowledge and information to others to enable them toexperience Pleasure or remove Pain. The purpose of teaching is to empower others torecognize and embrace opportunities for Success.
Olatunde, Here Are Some Keys You Can Use To Excel As An Effective Teacher...
Teach Your Passion...Only. Teach what you truly believe. Stay away from what you do not know. Teach what you have experienced. There is nothing more powerful than your personal testimony of what God has done for you.
Prepare Others For The Focus of Your Teaching. Create handouts, outlines and any literature that helps your listeners remember your teaching. Your preparation shows your caring.
Know The Difference In Your Audience. Talking to an unbeliever will require adifferent focus than if you were talking to a believer. Everyone processes information at a different pace. Know your audience.
Turn Conversations Into Teaching Moments. Every conversation can be a Mentorship Moment. Problems are Miracle-Moments. Learn the Art of Conversational Teaching. Always talk from your heart.
Confirm The Validity of Your Teaching With Scriptural Illustrations And References. The Word of God Matters. The Bible is our Foundation...our Rock...our Confidence. Meditate on it...constantly. Use Biblical illustrations in your teachings...always. No newspaper...television newscast...can compare with the indescribable impact of God's own words.
Teach...When You Anticipate That Someone May Make A Wrong Decision. Teach when you see the potential for pain. Teach when you anticipate someone is making a mistake.
Teach...Because You Truly Care. Caring costs time and energy. Caring sometimes involves risk. Caring for one person can affect your relationship with others in your circle. Teach because you care about their pain...their life...and their Future; not because  you want to control them.
Do What You Teach. Your life should confirm your teaching. Do not expect everything you teach to be understood... remembered...or even lived immediately. Information takes time to digest, understand and live out in real life. Teach by your words as well as your life. "Ye are our epistle...read of all men." (2 Corinthians 3:2).

Olatunde, The Holy Spirit is our Master Mentor. Every word He has spoken to us unlocks an explosion of creativity, energy and hope. Use these Master Keys to become an effective teacher to those around you. Let The Holy Spirit guide you to teach those you love...effectively, patiently and relentlessly.
