Price for Value - Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo
In the barter economy, services or goods were traded or exchanged, the price you offered was what determined the value you would receive in return. You can hardly ever add value in any area until an exchange (price) is made. An athlete exchanges his time (amongst others) for training to win a competition, a student exchanges money and time for education. Whatever you exchange is the price you pay for the value you get.
The challenge is that most times people do not realise that the price they must pay for the expected end or value they want must be proportional.
You can't expect to build a world class organization, experience some level of increase, transform your business into a Fortune 500 blue chip or even develop a better relationship with God, if you haven't paid the equivalent price in committing yourself to excellence in service delivery, upgrading the quality of your products, investing in your resources (human capital, machine and technology) making huge mental and financial investments and spending more time with God!
If you desire to increase your value, you must answer these questions:
What results would you like to see in your life?
What prices do you think can serve as a good means of exchange for the value you desire?
Are you willing to pay the prices?
