How passionate are you about your assignment?
God has placed you here on earth on purpose for a purpose. To birth that purpose and bring it to reality, you must be extremely passionate about it. An old quote says ‘Purpose is the reason for the journey; passion is the fire that lights your way”. When last did you stay awake all night praying and working because you just could not shut your eyes? If your assignment cannot keep you up at night, lead you to make huge sacrifices, then you are not passionate about it. Jesus had so much passion for his assignment, so much so he spent days and nights fasting and praying, He bore all the pain and heartache that came from His crucifixion, He would go any length to reach out to people. His passion was intense.
If you are not excited to get up and pursue that goal every morning, or you are not excited when you hear news related to your goals, you probably don’t have enough passion for it. Passion makes you persistent; passion gives you the ability to continue even when you are not seeing results at first. If you find that you are not passionate about what you are doing, then you are doing the wrong thing. What you are passionate about is a pointer to your assignment. You were brought to earth to drive something. No matter how filled up a car is, there is always space for the driver. Your seat is empty, take it. There is so much potential in you, you have the DNA of Jesus, anything Jesus can do, you can do too. This is not all there is to you. Find your purpose, fulfill your call, recreate yourself!
