One of the devil's greatest wiles is to instill fear into a believer's heart. As a Christian you must operate in faith and not fear. The bible in 1 Peter 5:8 compares the devil to a roaring lion, and interestingly the way the lion catches its prey is by instilling fear into it. One of the lion's favorite meals is the antelope, yet the antelope runs faster and can run for a longer period unlike the lion. To catch the prey, the lion prowls till it is in close range with the antelope, it roars then fear paralyzes the antelope. The lion immediately pounces on its prey and the rest is history. The same thing for the devil, the moment he can get you to stop thinking and walking by faith and get you to be afraid, you become an easy prey!
But, I have good news for you! One of the paramount instructions in the bible is that we should fear not! Remember, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, you must learn to walk in that reality. He's the same God who parted the Red Sea, the same God who provided for the Israelites in the wilderness, the same God who healed the leper, raised the dead, opened the eyes of the blind and so many more! He's that same God! Stop being afraid! Call on the supernatural power in the name of Jesus! Ask God to step in! Whatever the situation is, it will end in victory for you!
