Life is an individual race. God has set apart a unique purpose for each of us. He has also uniquely wired us with all we need to fulfill purpose. Your race is different from mine, mine is different from yours. You are unique to yourself, and you need to realize that your undoing will commence the moment you start comparing yourself to another.
There's a popular quote by Albert Einstein that says "everybody is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it's stupid" God will ultimately hold you accountable for what you were given, not what others have received. In you He has placed gifts, He has given you all you need to fulfill purpose, so rather than sitting down, folding your arms and crossing your legs observing every other person working on their calling, this morning get up and get to work. Our calling is to be responsible with the opportunities that God provides us. Do your best with what you are given.
2 Corinthians 10:12 b - (God's Word Translation): Certainly, when they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves to themselves, they show how foolish they are.
We must be wise by not comparing ourselves with others, instead we must discover our unique purpose and work it out with the help of God!
So are you a musician, an actor, a pastor, a business man, a politician etc. Do You! Dare to be You! Wake up every morning to outperform your last accomplishment! You have been called to excel, not to be a me too!
