Conqueror - Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo

March 19, 2016
This verse starts with a loud "No" because the Holy Spirit was trying to shift our paradigm.
When people go through stuff, they evaluate their victory and progress in life based on their circumstances.
When things are working they say "God is good" when there are challenges they say "God are you real? "
Sometimes life's challenges make you question what you believe, sometimes it makes you feel God is absent. Even David who wrote in the book of Psalms that God doesn't sleep or slumber, wrote in Psalms 44:22-23 that God should 'wake up from His sleep'. The challenges were so overwhelming, he couldn't believe that God was awake and seeing him go through that.
So Paul had to change our paradigms in this scripture. Having quoted Psalm 44:22 in Romans 8:36 he proceeded in verse 37 saying:
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
He said; No David, you are missing something. 'IN ALL OF THESE THINGS'... we are more than conquerors.
Not after the bills are paid, not when the sickness goes, not when the court case ends, But while all the troubles are raging,
We are more than conquerors. It says "IN All these things" not when they are over.
What are you going through today?
The devil knows, demons know, Angels know that you are more than a conqueror so long you are joined with Christ Jesus.
So square up and stop sulking, be bold and stand in the word!
Its time to open your mouth and declare your victory in the midst of all you are dealing with.
Declare how it will end, declare the end from the beginning. Say what you want and not what is happening. You are in an advantaged position, so maximize it!
Your words will create a new world
I see you come out victorious,
I see a new beginning for you,
I see you smiling by the end of today.
Have a beautiful day ahead
