Who Has Your Back? - Bishop T.D Jakes

Squad goals.

The UNLV football team is making headlines and the season hasn’t even started yet. During a strength and conditioning session that took place last week, UNLV Rebels running back Lexington Thomas was encouraged by his entire team to hit his PR back squat. For those of you who don’t know, PR in weightlifting stands for personal record.
Thomas, according to his profile, stands at 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. In this video, he was lifting his personal record at 375 pounds with his assistant coach Jeff Eaton spotting him from behind.
The roar from his teammates and coaches gave him the extra-push needed for him to set his “personal record.”  They had his back.
At different times in life we’ll either be the lifter, the spotter and the ones cheering in the crowd. When we are the ones carrying life’s burdens, we must remember we’re not carrying this burden alone. When we see others carrying burdens, heavy or light, our simple presence, our voice and words of encouragement will work wonders.
