God wrote the bible so that you will not live in uncertainty. He wrote the bible so you can know from the beginning what the end looks like. There is something called the law of entropy on earth. It means that things naturally degenerate or run down and this has been so since Adam fell. Proverbs 4:18 starts with the word 'but' which signifies an exception. You (as a child of God) are exempted from that law. You cannot afford to live your life outside of the word of God. Man's ways always end up in destruction, even though they may seem right at the beginning, only God's word guarantees a life without entropy! It has been tested and trusted and it is forever settled. ‪
