TAKING LIFE OFF HOLD - Michelle McKinney

After they had been in custody for some time, each of the two men—the cupbearer and the baker of the king of Egypt, who were being held in prison—had a dream the same night, and each dream had a meaning of its own. - GENESIS 40:4-5
Is your life on hold? Does where you are at present seem to have nothing to do with your capacity to dream? Dreams are unhindered by time and space. They can’t be confined to any set of conditions. Just because it looks like there is no end to your situation, don’t stop dreaming. In fact, encourage your dreams!
In the dark places of our lives often everything else falls away, leaving room for God to plant in our hearts what we couldn’t or wouldn’t receive before. Sometimes He uses dreams to show us what we can’t see when we’re awake.
Each dream is unique in accordance with our purposes and destinies. My dream will not be your dream, and your dream will not be mine. Our assignments are different. We need to honor our dreams and the dreams of others because, collectively, our dreams fit into the greater vision God has for His kingdom.
Our dreams are often hints of our assignments from God. Allow Him to whisper to you in the darkness and shed light on the hidden plans of His heart for you.
What dreams has God placed in your heart? What can you be doing while you wait?
PRAY THIS PRAYER WITH ME:
“Dear heavenly Father, make Your dreams mine. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
