Feed Your Spirit - Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo

Just as your physical growth hugely depends on your nutrition, your productivity as a child of God is linked to your connection to the word of God.
Even body builders have explained that nutrition is a key part of their process. You can work out all you can, but if you fail to have the right nutrition, you'd hardly see the effect. This is same as your spirit, what you see in the physical is a reflection of what you have fed your spirit with.
When you do not give yourself to the word of God, you inadvertently give yourself to other things.
The way you feel when you have not eaten, is the same way your spirit feels when you have starved it. You can't be a productive Christian if you don't feed your spirit. Perhaps the reason why it feels like you are not productive is because you are not abiding in the word.
Evaluate your life, do you give time to the word day and night?
A very fascinating lesson from Smith Wigglesworth, every time he ate, he said to himself now I have fed my body, I must also feed my spirit, he then brings out his pocket bible which he carries about every where and reads it.
Psalm 1:2 admonishes that our delight should be in the law of the Lord and we must meditate on it day and night. Don't just feed your body alone, make sure you consistently feed your spirit.
After you have fed your spirit, get the word in your mouth and declare it boldly. That is how to stand out in life!
