The LORD God called to the man, “Where are you?” - GENESIS 3:9
Trust me. God knows where you are. God is not naïve concerning the ways that you take. His knowledge of your nature and inclinations led Him to the sacrifice Jesus made on Calvary for you.
Why would a God who is all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever-present ask, “Where are you?” The answer to this was glaringly evident. God knew the answer. He was giving Adam an opportunity to fess up and locate where he was and where he needed to be. Adam should have replied, “Here I am, Lord! I’m standing here in need of You.” “Here I am, Lord, wretched and broken.” “Here I am, Lord, overwhelmed by my weaknesses and need.” “Here I am, Lord, needing You more now than ever.” “Here I am…”
Where you are is where God will meet you. When we come to the end of ourselves God’s faithfulness becomes more apparent. His glory will shine brighter than before.
What are you in need of? Where are you now? Answer these questions truthfully and discover another facet of the brilliance of God’s grace.
PRAY THIS PRAYER WITH ME:
“Dear heavenly Father, here I am, ready to serve You. I love You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
